Springtime Means Antiquing Time in Waukesha Pewaukee

A favorite pastime in Waukesha Pewaukee is shopping all of the amazing antique stores to find the perfect treasures. You never know what you’ll find and it’s never the same shopping trip twice.  We’ve highlighted some of the area’s tried and true antique shops and we hope you’ll check them out!

Antiques and Uniques on Main

Antiques and Uniques on Main is open seven days a week from 10am – 7pm and is located at 250 W. Main St. in Waukesha.  Here the antique lover will find two levels of antiques in 20,000 square feet from 120 dealers.

Looking for the largest selection of architectural antiques and artifacts in the Milwaukee and Waukesha County area? It’s at Antiques and Uniques on Main, where they have set aside 1,500 square feet in the lower level for quality:

Stained glass
Hardware, hinges, door knobs and locks, finials
Fireplace mantels, decorative cast and wrought iron, newels
Period lighting
Garden furnishings

Appraisals are available at Antiques & Uniques on Main (by appointment only).  Complete household appraisals are available as well as verbal appraisals for fundraisers and clubs.  Antiques & Uniques on Main also offers written legal documents/report analysis of your antiques.

Just a Little Bit of Country

Unlike other decorating styles, country decorating is not just a look but a way of life.  Whether your tastes are a period style or primitive, Just A little Bit Country offers both antiques and fine reproductions to accomplish your desired look.

The Waukesha Antique Mall

The Waukesha Antique Mall (WAM) is located at 1427 E. Racine Ave. in Waukesha. The mall is open every day from 10am – 5pm.  WAM offers customers a unique and memorable shopping experience by offering:

Over 100 dealers
144 booths
• 34 full cases
• Unique vintage items
• Collectables
• A certified appraiser onsite on Saturdays
• Free parking

Barbara Eash is WAM’s onsite appraiser and is available on most Saturdays at the mall from 10am – 2 pm. She has extensive experience with all things antique.  If you have something you’d like appraised and can’t make it to WAM, Barbara is happy to come to your home and check it out.

If you have antique items you would like to sell, WAM’s dealers will look at your items and offer a fair price for them. You can bring in your items to the mall any day except Saturday. A Quick Look at Two More Waukesha Pewaukee Area Antique Shops

Since 2012, Metropolitan Antiques & Gifts has been buying and selling antique and vintage items. In addition to antique and vintage items, the store also carries exquisite lines of dips, candles, cards and Moda Home products.

Metropolitan Antiques and Gifts is located at 259 W. Main St. in the “Olde Metropolitan Building” in historic downtown Waukesha, and is open Thursday – Saturday from 10am – 5:30pm, and Sunday from 2pm – 4pm.

The Picky Picky Resale Shop, located at 301 W. Main St. in Waukesha buys, sells, trades and consigns new and used antiques, as well as clothes, household items, retro and vintage pieces, unique items and more.

The store’s hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 11am – 5pm, Thursday and Friday 12pm – 7pm, Saturday 9am-2pm and Sunday 9am -1pm.
