June events in Waukesha Pewaukee

June offers many great options to enjoy live theatre, music, Fiesta Waukesha, the Lake Country Clean Water festival and waterski show season starting.

Fawlty Towers

June 3-5, 10-12 & 17-19 • Waukesha Civic Theatre • Historic Downtown Waukesha

Basil and Sybil Fawlty run a lovely countryside hotel, but Basil’s short temper and Sybil’s bossiness assure that everything that can go wrong will. Based on scripts from the brilliant British sitcom starring Monty Python vet John Cleese, Fawlty Towers will leave you in stiches.

Live outdoor music season begins on June 5!

There are so many options for live outdoor music in our area starting June 5. Be sure to check out this list.

Party in the Park

June 4 • Summerstage at Lapham Peak • Delafield

Enjoy live music by Funhouse, a high energy band that will have you dancing to ‘80s songs (and a few ‘70s and ‘90s songs too!) at Summerstage at Lapham Peak from 6:30-9:30pm.

Fiesta Waukesha

June 10-12 • Frame Park • Waukesha

Fiesta Waukesha promotes multi-cultural awareness through a three-day music and cultural festival held in Frame Park.  The festival is free to the public and offers a wide variety of Hispanic entertainment, Latin American cuisine, amusement rides, a children’s area and more.

The Importance of Being Earnest

June 9-11, 16-18, 23-25 • Summerstage at Lapham Peak • Delafield

Experience a live outdoor theatrical performance at Summerstage at Lapham Peak. The Importance of Being Earnest centers on Jack and Algernon, wealthy London bachelors who each live a double life. The two create elaborate deceptions in order to have some balance in their life; full of wit and charm, Oscar Wilde’s comedic masterpiece is a “trivial comedy for serious people.”

Pewaukee Kiwanis Beach Party & Lake Country Clean Water Festival

June 24-25 • Pewaukee Lakefront Park

The Pewaukee Kiwanis Beach Party and Lake Country Clean Water Festival is a two-day lakefront event filled with water activities, water ski show (just one show?), children’s activities and entertainment, live music, food, refreshments and an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast.

Waterski show season soon to start

Every Wed. in June • Badgerland Waterski Show • Frame Park
Every Thurs. in June • Pewaukee Lake Waterski Show • Pewaukee Lake

Every week in June, you can watch amazing waterski feats at two shows in Waukesha Pewaukee. Both are free and family-friendly. The Badgerland Water Ski Show is held every Wednesday from 7-8:30pm on the Fox River with themed shows like ballet, barefooting, doubles, jumping, pyramids, swivel and trios. Skills and formations are executed by trained skiers. On Thursdays you can see the Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Show from 6:45-8:15pm on Pewaukee Lake. The Pewaukee Lake Waterski Show Team performs weekly themed shows filled with barefooting, pyramids and acrobatic skills.
