Pewaukee Multisport Weekend July 8-10

Runners, biathletes and triathletes of all ages and abilities won’t want to miss the ultimate multisport experience: The 2016 Pewaukee Multisport Weekend July 8-10. All events start at Pewaukee Village Park, located at 222 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Pewaukee.

Friday, July 8 – Pajama Jam 5K run
Dress in your jammies and enjoy this 3.1 mile run or join the 1-mile family walk starting at 9pm. The entry fee is $35 (now thru race day). All registered athletes will be given PJ pants, race bib, cookies and water. Start times will be staggered for elite men, elite women and age groups from 9-9:02pm.

Saturday, July 9 Duathlon and Kids Triathlon
The duathlon features a run/bike/run course with a 2 mile run, followed by a 14.7 mile bike ride and then another 2 mile run. Registration is open until July 4 and is $60 for individuals and $110 for relay teams.

The largest kid’s triathlon in Wisconsin, the Pewaukee Multisport kids triathlon focuses on fun, safety and positivity. Race start times/race distances are:

7:30am – 9/10/11/12-year-old boys and girls
7:50am – 6/7/8/ year-old boys and girls
8:15am – 3/4/5-year-old boys and girls

Sunday, July 10 International Tri and Sprint Triathlon
New for 2016, the International distance triathlon will test your endurance with a half mile swim in Pewaukee Lake, 22.4 miles of biking and 6.2 miles of running. Registration is open until July 4 and is $80 for individuals and $130 for relay teams. The race start times include:

6:15am – Elite men
6:16am – Elite women
6:17am – Age group start

The Sprint triathlon is a great first-time triathlete event. Swim .25 miles in Pewaukee Lake, bike 16.4 miles around Pewaukee Lake and run 3.1 miles throughout downtown Pewaukee. Registration is open until July 4 and is $70 for individuals and $120 for relay teams. The race start times include:

6:30am – Elite men
6:31 am – Elite women
6:33 am – Beginner wave start
6:34am – Age group start

Pewaukee Triple Play Challenge – July 8-10
If you want to spread out the challenge among the three days and do more, you can sign up for the Pewaukee Multisport Triple Play Challenge. The Triple Play Challenge features:

The Pajama Jam 5K – July 8
Duathalon –July 9
Pewaukee Sprint or International Triatholon – July 10

The entry fee is $170 June -July 4.
