A Light Show Like No Other
The holiday season is in full swing and there’s so much to do and see in the Waukesha Pewaukee area. One event my family and friends always make time for is a visit to the Country Christmas holiday lights show in Pewaukee. It’s a mesmerizing lights display brimming with holiday spirit, which runs from Dec. 2 – 31, 2016. This much-loved local tradition is celebrating its 21st year of dazzling people from all around Southeast Wisconsin.
Country Christmas takes place around the Country Springs Hotel and is perfect for a group of people to do together. Admission, charged per vehicle, includes a drive through the Country Christmas Trail and entrance to two buildings located at the end of the trail, the Christmas Village and The Streets of Bethlehem.
The Country Christmas Trail features over a million holiday lights incredibly displayed over a mile-long trail. It is unbelievable, and once you see it you’ll make it a part of your holiday traditions.
The Streets of Bethlehem is located at the end of the drive-through trail, where guests get out of their vehicle and walk through a collection of nearly life-size Fontanini nativity characters, a replica of the one found at the Vatican.
Christmas Village, also at the end of the trail hosts a remarkable model train display, as well as additional holiday displays, including the perfect spot to take photos and a concession area where you can buy a holiday treat.
If you are flexible when you go to Country Christmas, (or are like me and want to see it more than once) consider one of these dates and take advantage of special pricing.
