Featured Retailers: Roost and Burlap & Lace
Two local stores in Waukesha Pewaukee have created unique places for shoppers to find one-of-a-kind vintage and repurposed items from hundreds of local artisans. Both places offer distinctive spaces and ever-changing merchandise reflecting each season.
Roost at Lynndale Farm, Pewaukee
When you drive up to Roost at Lynndale Farm in Pewaukee you see something unexpected – a converted old barn, that’s out-of-this-world cool.
Within Roost’s barn are hundreds of artists on two levels with upcycled furniture, jewelry, soap, baby clothes, garden art, home décor, stationery, hats, gifts for furry friends and artwork. The majority of the items sold at Roost are handmade, upcycled, reassigned and vintage items. The selection of items changes each season.
When you go: Roost is just a short drive on Hwy 16 (just a few minutes from Capitol Drive) off of the Jungbluth Rd. exit.

Burlap & Lace Marketplace, Waukesha
It is easy to spot Burlap & Lace Marketplace on Grand Avenue in downtown Waukesha. Just look for the beautiful blue storefront. During the summer months’, you will find café seating, which offers a great place to sit and read or wait for the shoppers in your group.
Inside Burlap & Lace Marketplace is a unique space with cream city brick walls on one side and two levels of repurposed, upcycled, handcrafted vintage items from over 70 vendors. Treasures found at Burlap & Lace include furniture, candles, soaps, jewelry, clothing, home décor, artwork, purses and more.
When you go: Burlap & Lace Marketplace is located in downtown Waukesha at 840 N. Grand Ave. Street parking is available near the store, as is a parking structure on South Street (just a short walk from Burlap & Lace).
