Renovations Ahead for the Country Springs Hotel & Water Park
The Country Springs Hotel & Water Park was purchased in early February by Waukesha Hospitality. Waukesha Hospitality is owned by Burwell Enterprises out of Minneapolis, MN. The company also owns The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club, one of Wisconsin’s premier meeting and convention destinations in the heart of downtown Madison, along with other hospitality, retail and technology companies.
A complete renovation of guest rooms, meeting space, food and beverage outlets, exterior and grounds of the Country Springs Hotel will be completed by Chicago-based hotel design firm The Getty’s Group. The renovation is estimated to take 18 months and the hotel will remain open and functioning.
“The Country Springs Hotel has many unique assets, including a first-class location and over 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Our goal is to build on that uniqueness and create a convention, wedding and leisure destination for the entire upper Midwest.” – Stephen Zanoni, COO of the hospitality division of Burwell Enterprises and the General Manager of The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club.
