A timed six-mile canoe/kayak race from Hammel Machine in Pewaukee to Frame Park in Waukesha.

Local Farmers’ Market featuring produce, baked goods, flowers, hot food, art and crafts. NOTE: the Farmers’ Market has a new location in the Waukesha State Bank employee parking lot on the corner of Madison Street and St. Paul Avenue, across from the Waukesha Fire Station.
May 20 • 10am-5pm • Historic Beer Brewing at Old World Wisconsin
Old World Wisconsin and the Museum of Beer and Brewing are partnering and bringing to life 19th-century brews. See the brewers use equipment and techniques from the late 1800s and heirloom hops and barley grown at Old World Wisconsin. The brewing process will begin by 10 am and conclude by 5 pm. On this day Old World Wisconsin will be brewing an American cream ale.

The second annual Gathering of Warbirds will honor veterans and the 75th Anniversary of the 1942 Doolittle Raid on Tokyo, which was the first strike to hit the Japanese home islands in World War II. This is a family-friendly event featuring historic and modern military aircraft, aircraft tours and rides, and education activities for all ages. It’s aimed at anyone who enjoys seeing historic and modern military aircraft and fighter jets fly throughout the day. Cost: $15 per vehicle.
