Food and Brew by the Truckload
Reading the food line-up for the first ever Milwaukee Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival makes you feel like a kid on Christmas. Lobster rolls, duck tacos, juicy burgers, cheesy pizza, Vietnamese sandwiches, grilled cheese, barbecue ribs, whoopee pies (and so much more), with the option to wash it all down with local and regional craft ales and beers… oh my!
On Saturday, May 20, 2017, from noon – 6 pm the Waukesha County Expo Center, located at 1000 Northview Rd., is hosting this delicious event sponsored by Food Truck Festivals of America (FTFA).
Some of Wisconsin’s most popular food trucks will be parked, but ready to roll, with some seriously scrumptious food paired with dozens of regional and national craft breweries. For the latest list of food trucks and breweries, check out the FTFA website.
Online tickets prior to the event are $5. Day-of tickets at the gate are $10. Children 12 and under are free. Once inside, food and drink are available for purchase.
If lines aren’t your thing, consider going to the VIP hour from 11 a.m. to noon. You’ll get early access to food and drinks with no lines, as well a complimentary craft beer, a free dessert, a free FTFA branded koozie and unlimited water during the event. VIP tickets are $25 at the door, $20 if you buy online in advance.
There will be lots of fun to be had while eating and drinking your way around the festival. Enjoy live music playing all day and take advantage of the children’s activities (in case they get full before you do). ATMs will also be available.
