Gathering of Warbirds: May 27
If you any interest in airplanes, you won’t want to miss the Gathering of Warbirds on May 27 from 10am-4pm at the Waukesha County Airport.
Sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force Wisconsin Wing, Gathering of Warbirds features the following:
- Airplanes dating back to World War II and the Korean War fly over Waukesha and on the ground at the Waukesha County Airport.
- Aircraft tours and rides.
- Family-friendly Educational activities.
- Aircraft presentations.
- Miss Mitchell, a restored B-25 Mitchell, the type of aircraft used in the Doolittle Raid, will be at the event for tours and flight experiences as well as other aircraft. Book your flight ahead here.
